A few days prior to Christmas, I've visited South Carolina to spend some time with my fiance's family. They live in Pendleton, SC, just across the border from Georgia and south of Asheville, NC. One of the days, we walked along the shores of Lake Hartwell, low from drought and hence strangely scenic.
