Arrival In Hong Kong, December, 2008
After a 26 hour journey, we arrived in Hong Kong. Our first night was spent in a reserved hotel, but we went to the notorious Mirador Mansion, a maze of guesthouses, sweatshops, and flophouses. We stayed in a very nice hostel, but it was still quite an experience. We spent the next two days exploring all we could of Hong Kong, hiking on the Island, riding around on the metro, buses, and trams, even going to the top of Victoria's Peak. Two nights after arriving, we were on a sleeper bus heading into the mainland.
