Hiking Around Yangshuo, China, December, 2008
We spent our second day on a very long hike, around 11 miles. We jumped on a bus early in the morning to a small village north of Yangshuo, where we crossed the Li River and headed out into the rural countryside, passing small villages and cropland as we weaved through karst formations. Eventually, after making an additional two ferry crossings, we came to another larger village, Xing, where we celebrated with a beer before catching an absolutely packed bus back to Yangshuo.
