Outdoor Adventure In Yangshuo, China, December, 2008
Our fourth day in Yangshuo was a whirlwind of outdoor activity. We started the morning on bikes, following a fellow on a moped as he directed us out of town and into the countryside until we reached a launching point for our rafting trip down a tributary of the Li River, the Yulong River. Despite the fact that our little bamboo raft was just barely above water, we enjoyed the 1.5 hour trip. Then we rode the bikes to a karst peak with a huge hole in its center, called Moon Hill, and climbed to its peak. Finally, we spent the rest of the afternoon biking around the countryside outside of Yangshuo. What a day!
