Exploring Yangshuo, China, December, 2008
We needed a relaxed day, so we spent our next day just wandering around Yangshuo, looking beyond its touristy appearance to the authentic, interesting town that it is. Some people complain this isn't the "real China," but an hour in the market changes that idea. Wandering the backstreets and alleyways typically walked by the locals provided a fascinating perspective into their world.
