River Of The Desert: Hiking Along Bear Canyon Creek
Seven Falls, Sabino Canyon Recreational Area, Tuscon, AZ, January, 2009
Jess, I and some friends of ours made the relatively easy and pleasant hike up to Seven Falls through Bear Canyon. This is a roughly 8-mile trip, and it follows the creeks closely, crossing it several times. It is really a beautiful hike, and it's amazing to see water flowing so freely in such a dry, harsh environment. Of course, as the falls were flowing quite heavy when we arrived, it was quite lovely.
