California's Big Trees
Sequoia National Park, CA, November 15-16, 2010
It was getting late in the season, but we really wanted to get up to Sequoia NP to see the massive sequoia's. This park has numerous groves, one of which hold the world's largest tree (by volume). It was all very spectacular; these are seriously some big trees. The park was a real treat, especially finding ourselves a hidden sequoia grove. We spent two nights camping out at the end of dirt road just inside the park, in a deserted campground, just ourselves and our dog. Though we didn't have any visitors, we saw a couple of bears in the park, so they were out there. Again...
