Visit To North Island Of New Zealand

Coming from Sydney, we arrived into Auckland. From there we headed north up to a little village called Whananaki, where we set up camp on the beach for a couple of days. Then we had a the great pleasure of meeting the mother of a couple that we'd become acquainted with in Poland. She has a farm in the nearby city of Whangarei, and invited us to stay with her and her friends. That experience really made our NZ portion special; while seeing the northern tip of this beautiful place was great, being in such good company was superb. We went further from the farm to stay in places such as Karikari and Tauranga Bay, making the most of our week in NZ. Despite its small size, NZ has a lot of exploring to offer, and a week just wasn't enough. We'll be back, though.
