Starting The Trip In Portugal
August 26, 2009 - August 31, 2009
Our six month backpacking trip started out in Lisbon, Portugal. As the first destination of the trip, it was quite a special place, we really enjoyed Lisbon as well as visiting the surrounding countryside. Other destinations included a couple of day trips to the medieval royal spa area of Sintra as well as visiting the Portugese coast at Capo da Roca, the most western point of Europe. Our six days in Portugal flew by all too quickly.
