Thailand, An Introduction To SE Asia
October 13 - 18, November 9 - 12, 2009

We started our loop around SE Asia by taking a long flight from Istanbul to arrive in Bangkok. Travel in SE Asia isn't the easiest, there is a bit of a learning curve, and there's nowhere better to get into the culture than Bangkok. We had a crazy time there, including plenty of rickshaw riding. Next we went north to Chiang Mai for a few days in that relaxing little city, before venturing off into Laos via Vientaine. After touring Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia, we passed through Bangkok on a quick journey south, stopping in the little beach village of Ao Nang before heading on through Malaysia to Singapore.
