My big international trip in 2005 was to go through New England and into Canada in September. The plan was to fly up to Philadelphia, where I'd rent a car, then drive up through Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York to Hartford, Connecticut. There, I'd meet my parents, and we'd head north through Massachusetts to New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, and ultimately Canada.
