So, it was a pretty overcast day, bad for both photography and birdwatching. It was a little nippy as well. I wasn't terribly encouraged to take photos of birds, not having a powerful enough lens and never being close enough. The group was a little hostile towards my camera, however, as it became clear I was photographing things without wings.
