As far as beachtowns go, Virginia Beach was rivaled only by Myrtle Beach in its ugliness and gaudiness. On the other hand, if a person had the time to investigate the surrounding area, I'm sure that beauty could be found. After all, Virginia is supposed to be a very nice state, with beautiful environments.
