We spent the first night in Pt. Varas, in a little backpackers' hostel called La Casa Azure (The Blue House). We explored the little town, which stretches along the long beach for a couple of miles. We walked up and down the beach, then checked out the town. It's a busy town, even if it's fairly small. It's actually pretty fun.
