Colorado has an extensive and fascinating history of silver, gold, and other type of mineral mines. I've learned a little about it, but not much. I'd like to spend some time in the mountains going to old mining towns and learning more about them--as a Coloradoan, they are my history almost as much as my family's stone yard.
