The first big uphill wasn't bad; it got worse from there. I have no delusions that I'm in great shape, so by the second big uphill, I was panting and pushing my bike up. The rides down, which is what Tsali is famous for, were definitely adreneline-inspiring, but the three main uphills had me overheated quickly. I drained about 2 liters of Gatorade, and took a couple long breaks.
