We really made the most our of our time in Budapest, not taking a day off at all. We walked for miles, looping through the city, setting foot on nearly all of the bridges across the Danube, all of which had been destroyed by the Nazis and rebuilt. We learned as much as possible about the city, its history and people, as visitors without a guide could. We walked our feet numb. What a great city.
