Anyhow, we set the pattern that first day for the next three days: we walked all day long. Budapest is actually a very large city, although it's center is what it's known for. We put miles and miles in there, looping around the center as well as heading off into the surrounding "local" neighborhoods. No point staying just in the tourist areas.
