This park is the location of the annual Eno River Music Festival. Strangely, I've never gone, even though I've always lived in very close proximity. I guess I don't really have my finger on the pulse of Durham, I never know about it, and I can never drum up enough interest to want to go when I find out about it. It's supposed to be pretty good, though, from what I hear.
