At any rate, I kept hiking from the pond. The trail was a little rough, but interesting. I'd never been in that particular section of the Eno, it's quite beautiful. Since it's right int he middle of a very urban area, more than most other places along the Eno, it's also heavily used. This evening, though, I had the trail to myself.
