There is also something beautiful about winter in the Rockies as well. Beyond the point that there is much that is beautiful about them, here one can see the raw nature at work; the ice forming and breaking and smoothing, the river slowly carving, the white snow collecting against the green of the moss, this partnership and competition all in one package that is Colorado wilderness.
