Actually, as it turned out, it wasn't that bad. The drive down was difficult. Once there, we talked for awhile, ate a lunch, and when everyone split to do their individual things, I got back in the Bug and headed out to do some exploring. I wanted to get some photos of New Mexico, particularly the desert environment.
