Also, there were good views. If there's anything that I like, it's a good view. There were valleys and hills. There was the dry desert environment, with its rocks and twisted dry trees. There was the adobe pueblo, the old ghost town as well as other various abandoned buildings, and the little towns with real adobe buildings, as well as hardscrabble homes and businesses. A person could spend a lot of time focusing on any of these targets; I only had an afternoon. Still, I took a good overall perspective of the immediate area.
