Estes Park was always a common destination for my family when I was young. It was just down the canyon from my grandparents, and there were a number of used article stores, a real draw for my grandmother. Back then, it wasn't nearly the tourist trap that it is today, especially in the summer. Nowadays, one has to visit in the winter to see how it used to be, as well as ignore all the useless tourist crap stores lining Main St.
