From the Front Range, which the length of flatlands and foothills along the east side of the Colorado Rockies are referred to, it is difficult to get away from the mountains. They are always to the west, which is an excellent reference point. They also serve as a constant and beautiful backdrop to the cities that line the Front Range, from Pueblo to Fort Collins.
